Trump and his gang are going to take an axe to federal programs.
The departments of Commerce and Energy would see major reductions in funding, with programs under their jurisdiction either being eliminated or transferred to other agencies. The departments of Transportation, Justice and State would see significant cuts and program eliminations.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be privatized, while the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities would be eliminated entirely.

At the Department of Justice, the blueprint calls for eliminating the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, Violence Against Women Grants and the Legal Services Corporation and for reducing funding for its Civil Rights and its Environment and Natural Resources divisions.
Burn it all down, says the invading barbarian.

No surprises but… I hoped it would take time.
The thing is, he understands what we don’t – money belongs to the rich. People who work at hard jobs are there only to make money for the rich. The rest of us have been paying taxes not so we can gain a better civilization but so there can be a big pot of money in the government coffers for the proper owners to claim.
Just like in feudal society, when the baron who had been given permission by the king to claim a portion of your property. You worked and he claimed the benefits that you “owed” him. Now everything belongs to Trump – the voters said so, by giving him his massive landslide of popular opinion…right?
You would think the fact that more people voted for his opponent than voted for him would make him a bit cautious about his program, but he doesn’t even believe that is true.
And the Republicans who have taken over so many states are busily dismantling their local regions as wel. Our governor announced he intends to cut funding for community colleges…because they do such good work. Yes, he said that. They will manage well without the money because they are so good.
