These anarchists
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has been rejoicing at Trump’s win and denouncing protesters on Twitter. He’s a candidate for head of the Department of “Homeland Security.” Another very bad man.
Apparently these anarchists do not respect the lawfully arrived at peaceful transition of power thru elections. https://t.co/lCuT5JvkfM

These temper tantrums from these radical anarchists must be quelled. There is no legitimate reason to protest the will of the people. pic.twitter.com/G502pwNSN9

Wrong. We’re allowed to protest, and Sheriff Clarke doesn’t get to decide whether our reasons are legitimate or not. We’re allowed to protest and that’s all there is to it.

Actually, American citizens are not just “allowed” to protest. They have assumed upon themselves over the course of history the right to do so; going back to the 1776 revolution, the English Civil War and beyond. To put around the other way, the government does not have any constitutional right to stop them, nor has it been given such right by the supreme authority in America: the people. Not even to stop a minority of one against the rest of the US population.
Neither the US Government nor David A. Clarke, Jr. (@SheriffClarke): though occasionally he might need reminding of that fact.
Hey, guess what, David Clarke: the “will of the people” WAS TO ELECT HILLARY CLINTON PRESIDENT because she earned the most votes. They are protesting FOR their choice.
Weren’t these people (Trump’s people) the same people who were going to water the tree of liberty with the blood of traitors after Obama got elected? What right did they have to protest his election? Apparently those reactionary tea partiers did not respect the lawfully arrived at peaceful transition of power through elections.
Be interesting to find out what he thinks of the Bundys.
Could he get any more bling on that SS uniform?
It’s amazing how readily the words “democracy” and “will of the people” spill from the mouths of those who seek only tyranny.
It’s Veterans Day.
I’m going to take this moment to thank all the Veterans, and all the people who fought, risked their lives and sometimes died in an effort to stop tyranny.
From Chief Joseph, who fought and lost, to my grade-school friend’s father, who fought in the Dutch resistance, to the student who faced down a tank in Tienanmen Square.
Some things are worth fighting for.
All I can say is that it’s a good thing Trump knows the Constitution better than those elite scholars!
