In the cartoonist Barry Blitt’s portrayal of the upcoming Inauguration Day, the new President is sidelined into a dash of yellow hair and a sliver of red tie. “On January 20, 2025, the next leader of the United States — and of the free world — assumes power,” Blitt said. “Also on that day: Donald Trump is sworn in.”
Brilliant!
The New Yorker is so good.
That is really good.
Well, the covers can be. The content these days is terrible.
I read The New Yorker for a while…uhhh…many moons ago.
How has it changed?
It’s just crappy. The writing is not good, the articles are boring, the cartoons are godawful. It’s as if everyone took a mediocrity pill.
