Terrorist child claims to be gay not queer
Hm. Boy says “I’m gay not queer” and all hell breaks loose.
12-year-old boy has allegedly been referred to counter-terrorism authorities after posting an online video saying “there’s no such thing as non-binary”. The child, who remains unnamed, reportedly created the video to counter bullies who had mistakenly assumed he supported transgender rights. In the footage, he reportedly declares: “[I’m] gay not queer.”
Are people required to say they’re queer now?
According to the boy’s mother, school officials informed her that the video had prompted them to report her son to Prevent, the Home Office programme aimed at thwarting potential terrorists.
Ah. Kid age 12 says he’s gay and the school concludes he’s a terrorist.
The boy’s mother told the [Daily] Mail that both agencies had visited her in what felt like an “interrogation” after she uploaded the video on his behalf. She said: ‘We think that he was targeted as the children believe gay people agree with trans ideology. He made a video which I uploaded to YouTube where he said ‘there are only two genders’ and ‘I’m gay not queer’.
“The school phoned up and were incensed by it. They said that they would refer him to Prevent for that video. They said that he was at risk of radicalisation – not that he had been, but was a risk when he gets to 13 and is entitled to his own social media accounts. There was a risk he would fall in with far right groups.”
Because it’s far-right to say you’re gay not queer.
Make it make sense.
Harry Miller answers the difficult question “What the hell is going on Harry?”
Who would have guessed that “NO ‘LGB” WITHOUT THE ‘T'” had become government policy? I guess they’re just putting the “force” into “forced teaming.”
Shit talk about institutional capture – Education, police and spay agencies. What are the chances that kid and his mum will now be on databases for life as a result of someone loosing their shit over a kid refusing to accept their view as to how the world should be. Once again proof that this isn’t even about being progressive, it’s about being authoritarian.
That “we’ll ask the questions” attitude might be expected from the far right, but has become standard on the “progressive” (Woke, Theory-infected) left as well.
There have been warnings being issued for a very long time about the authoritarian nature of the ‘trans’ cult, and the vehemently homophobic nature of its adherents, but I doubt anyone foresaw that the election of the cult’s captured political party would lead to a twelve-year-old bullied gay Jewish boy being accused of right-wing terrorism for standing up for himself.
How far to the extreme left does one have to be, to see homophobia as virtuous and gay rights as right wing‽ This is Taliban level shit.
Of course, it’s currently fashionable to be anti-Jewish-people-standing-up-for-themselves. Yesterday evening, we passed a line of people standing at the kerb outside the courthouse, around seven holding Palestinian flags and one holding a badly scrawled sign on a scrap of cardboard, demanding that Israel be sanctioned. I gave them a clear thumbs down gesture through the window as I was driven past. They aren’t remotely interested in actual Palestinians – they’re just revelling in the opportunity to display their antisemitism, just as Labour supporters in the UK are revelling in the opportunity to display theirs – and their misogyny and homophobia.
Apart from everything else that’s wrong here, isn’t the boy being targeted because “the bullies had mistakenly assumed he supported transgender rights”? Meaning the bullies are against those “rights”, and are hassling (one might say terrorizing) a random kid based on the fact that he is gay? If being against gender ideology warrants a visit from the counter-terrorism squad (and it bloody doesn’t), why aren’t the bullying little shits top of the list?
Catwhisperer,
That part isn’t clear. Is he being bullied because he was assumed to support trans dogma, or because he’s declared he doesn’t support it, or because he’s gay? Did the antisemitic bullying start before he said he wanted to see Hamas obliterated, or after?
It’s hard to tell the Leftie bullies from the Rightie bullies without a scorecard. One hardly knows whom to defend and whom to shout “Fascist!” at.
My understanding of the situation is:
He was bullied because he is gay and the bullies thought gay people support gender ideology (“trans rights” in the article). The boy is Jewish, and the bullies also attacked him on that basis.
He posted a video in response to the bullying. In the video he said that he is gay, not queer, and that there are only two sexes, and that there is no such thing as non-binary. He also defended Israel’s position in the war. It is claimed he made other remarks that are being interpreted as threats, but a lot of that is unclear.
The video then drew a bunch of responses from people other than the original bullies. Damned no matter which side you take on these issues.
The video, which was in response to the initial bullying, is what is making people claim the boy is making terrorist threats.
This appears to be the sequence of events. I, too, wish I could get a scorecard, it’s hard to tell the players otherwise.
