They are sort of right. Trans men could be at a disadvantage in male sports. That’s probably why we don’t see a lot of clamoring to enter, or forcible attempts to make someone accept them.
But we don’t have divisions based on VO2, BMI, fat percentage, height, and similar. Nor do we have divisions for people who like lipstick and dresses and those who don’t. We have divisions for men and for women. If they think those should be scrapped, and men and women compete in the same division, they should say so. There is absolutely no justification for a trans-identifying man competing in the women’s division while a man who does not claim to be women is excluded. The performance analyses are simply reasons WHY there are sex-based divisions, not justification for keeping them with special exclusions for a certain set of narcissistic men.
Oh, I dunno, a male that went the blockers at young age -> female hormones route would probably be worse off than any of the above but I can’t imagine that some five foot tall, brittle-boned mutant would be trying out for the Olympics anyways.
News: A healthy, twenty-something male who’s never played any sports would be at a disadvantage—when compared to gold medal contenders—in the Paralympics. Therefore, healthy twenty-something males should be allowed to compete in the Paralympics.

So they’ve determined that some male and female athletes do better at sports than other male and female athletes? Stop the presses!

My brain hurts.
