One such powerful individual
“One such powerful individual that Epstein forced then-minor Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with was former Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, a close friend of Epstein’s and well-known criminal defense attorney. Epstein required Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with Dershowitz on numerous occasions while she was a minor, not only in Florida but also on private planes, in New York, New Mexico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.” (Attachment 9)
“Dershowitz came “pretty often” to Epstein’s Florida mansion and got massages while he was there” (Attachment 18, sworn testimony from Epstein’s housekeeper Juan Alessi)
“Massages” was code for sex.
Reminds me of the hypocrisy of atheist bros (and others) who defended continuing to invite the known creeps to conventions because they were stars of the movement and a big draw. Women were on their own to warn others about these creeps, but don’t say anything out loud, God forbid (sarcasm intended).
If I recall correctly, there were concerns raised about Lawrence Krauss’s association with Epstein, which Krauss dismissed with the standard “oh, these girls all look 18, and they’re no innocents” routine (this was during the initial exposure of Epstein’s activity that led to the sweetheart Florida plea deal, i.e. long before it became A Big Deal in the public generally).
The JREF and most of its supporters, of course, accepted this and laughed off the concerns of the radical feminists who just don’t understand that rich dudes are entitled to the bodies of teenage girls.
The Observer wrote about Epstein and Krauss, with accidental hilarity, in 2019:
Hahahahaha topnotch as a scientist judging things on empirical evidence there.
I remember that!
Cringe-o-rama on logic and reasoning, O Scientific One.
