Maddening
Beth Rigby on Sky News talked to Stonewall chair Iain Anderson about the war on feminist women. He tells us it’s Both Sides.
No it isn’t. Not even close. We get abuse, insults, name-calling, venomous misogyny day in day out. Very few of us on team terf try to match them.
in other words, (trans) women and allies, stop threatening violence and rape; GC women, just shut up.
*raises hand
What is there to be diplomatic about, exactly?
Show me an example of someone standing up at e.g. a Let Women Speak event, shouting “punch a trans in the fucking face” loud and obvious approval. Maybe then we can talk about ‘both sides’.
Refusing to say “Yes, trans women are women” is resistance. Saying “No, trans women are not women” is defiance and aggression. Failure to accept the central demand of trans ideology (let’s face it, “Trans men are men, and non-binary identities are valid” are after thoughts that would have gone nowhere without the needs of men in the forefront) is the unforgiveable sin, the unpardonable crime. Willful rejection is the mark of an unrepentant and defiant soul opposed to the Truth. How could this be anything but “violence” in the eyes of True Believers? Standing up to this evil is just and virtuous. Frankly I’m amazed he even admitted “both sides” with regards to anything. When you claim your opponents are encouraging suicide, denying your existence, and plotting genocide, saying that your side is doing anything wrong or even questionable must be galling.
