All very hush-hush
Stoney Creek Camels Rugby Club is on Facebook.
Their most recent post is June 23, announcing the game the next day.
There is one comment on the post, but it’s “not visible” – which I surmise means it has been hidden, which I further surmise means it was a question about the man who played in the match, and perhaps about why the video of the match was made private yesterday.
It’s not the crime, it’s the coverup.
The incident in question was in the preceding weekend’s match versus Fergus.
Note also that if the photo is of the player in question, the green and white are the colours of the Fergus Highlanders, that double blue is Stoney Creek.
Naif, if the bloke did injure three women using illegal tackles, in the manner he’s been accused of doing, then those injured players would be on the Stoney Creek team not his own.
Ah, Fergus; thank you for the correction.
From Fergus Highland’s Facebook page in March this year:

The post by Fergus Highland stating their commitment to the Rugby Canada trans inclusion policy is here.
Rugby Canada’s Trans Inclusion Policy, which was finalised on January 1, 2019, states, inter alia:
In 2020 World Rugby recommended that for safety reasons transwomen should no longer be permitted to play women’s contact rugby. Rugby Canada announced that it would not be falling into line. A body called Canadian Women & Sport applauded the decision, stating: “This ban violates the human rights of transgender and gender diverse people, forcing them out of sport and denying them the benefits it brings.”
I think this may explain why there have been no official statements about this episode, and why, indeed, there’s a strong whiff of cover-up: it is very embarrassing, both for the club and the sport’s national governing body.
Oh good GOD.
And thanks for all the informative links NightCrow.
If you want to maintain secrecy about paperwork denying/lying about what everyone can see with their own eyes, then you should not have any “Day/Week/Month/Year/In-your-face-24/7/365 of Visibility.”. Either you want people to know, or you don’t. Either you’re “out and proud” or you’re not. You can’t have it both ways. If you’re making a big spectacle of yourself, it’s no longer private. You’ve waived your “privacy.”
Oh, you big fat liars! Nobody is “forcing” the men who say they’re women “out of sport.” They can continue to participate in sport in the division set aside for their SEX, i.e., the MEN’S division. Nobody has a human right to lie about their human sex. Lies, and the lying liars who tell them.
