It’s all the women’s fault
Controversial pro-woman
and anti-transgendercampaigner Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull said she thought she was going to die after she was attacked with tomato sauce and mobbed, forcing to cut her planned rally short.…
Footage shows the controversial activist struggling to get through the crowd to escape the crushing mob with her security.
The crowd quickly became violent with supporters and protesters pushing against each other, while a metal barrier was pushed down by screaming counter-protesters.
One of them punched a woman in the face.
This wasn’t just noise, this was physical violence.
Co-leader of the Green Party, James Shaw, issued a statement following the violent rally, saying the party stands with trans and non-binary whānau.
“Aotearoa should be a place where everyone can live their lives without fear of hate or discrimination,” he said.
Except women of course. All they can do is get punched in the face.
I’ve tried to watch the footage, but can only manage a few minutes at a time; I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch all of it yet.
I haven’t seen all of it either. Selected clips.
Oops. Typed this out last night, and fell asleep before sending.
Absolutely terrifying footage from above. I don’t know how any of the women weren’t killed by the mob.

I’m still trying to find the footage of the woman in her seventies who was punched in the eye.
It’s in a post here.

Thanks, Ophelia. I have no idea how I missed that – I thought I had read all the posts. Thank you!
Oh, I forgot to say that I’ve been listening to accounts by the women who were there in Auckland, on YouTube. The radio show is an independent outfit called The Platform, set up specifically for free speech, and the host (Sean Plunket) is audibly moved by the accounts. At one point in the first third of the show, he allows a news segment to air (which is supplied by a different company, apparently) and gets absolutely furious at the newsreader for calling Keen ‘anti-trans’; so furious, that he refuses to go to the news link for a long time afterwards. The next time the news comes on, the newsreader does NOT slur KJK.
