Installment plan
Still working on the government by force thing.
And who should do the installing? The military?
Much of Lake’s Trump-backed campaign was centered around bolstering unfounded claims of electoral fraud in the 2020 election, and the former TV anchor has lived up to her commitment to only accept election results if she won.
Lake, who lost her bid for governor to Democrat Katie Hobbs, has refused to acknowledge the election results, instead filing a lawsuit requesting public records from Maricopa County that would detail which voters experienced issues casting their ballots, and information regarding errors in ballot counting.
“We know we won this election,” Lake said in a weekend interview with far-right streaming service Real America’s Voice. “We are going to do everything in our power to make sure that every single Arizonans vote that was disenfranchised is counted.”
Trump “knew” he “won” too.
These people seem to miss that old “Divine Right of Kings” plan, don’t they? They know they won, just because it’s what God wanted to happen. Katie Hobbs is a socialist, why would God let her win? Makes no sense.
Mike Lindell says if God will it, he will run for RNC Chair. Go For It, Mike! I would love it.
If I win, the vote is OK, and part of a cosmic Trump… I mean Divine plan. If I lose, the election was rigged. And I seek the appointment of Stormy Daniels to supervise the election. What could possibly go wrong?
Once you become convinced that nearly everybody agrees with you, that the vast majority is on your side, it becomes incomprehensible to consider that you lost the vote. How could you lose the vote with so many of the people on your side? (If you only look at Republican polling numbers, they often do have the votes on their side, often by 80% or more, but they refuse to acknowledge Dems have a right to vote, too.)
When you lose with such odds, it becomes the default to assume the deck was stacked, and that cheaters won the election.
Way too many people believe democracy means “I get what I want”.
