I still don’t like this “thing care” phrasing. If nothing else, it’s unnecessarily verbose. One can convey the same meaning by saying, “abortions,” so why not just say that?
By ‘rapidly changing landscape’ they mean ‘crisis’, and it is during this crisis they think it reasonable to muddy the issue by concealing the at-risk group.
Nullius – In this case they do spell out why they add “care”: because now women “people” have to travel long distances to get an abortion they need lodging, transportation, child care, meals etc.
