I was browsing Nina Lakhani’s tweets because of this Private Eye story:
Can you read it? Kath Viner told staff not to attack other staff on Twitter, and the next day Lakhani attacked Hadley Freeman on Twitter – over, of course, Sacred Transism.
That “anonymized account” of the playdoh session that will be sent to the boss — yeah, sure, there is no way to tell which employees went to playdoh session on which days so no fear of anybody figuring out who is who.
And what does that account consist of? What the person did with the playdoh? Did the person with the “correct” views get their dose of affirmation and all is well? Did the person with the “bad” views get worked over verbally and how did they take it – are they ready to convert to the new religion yet?
Is torture not outlawed in Britain?
Whereas Freeman was not talking about sacred transism, but about US women.
Like fuck would I agree to attend anything even remotely resembling therapy and have the report sent to my boss. Even if the report was full of incomprehensible waffle about decoloniality as a systemic lens for creating solutions based on something something.
