“Gender expression human rights protection”
Hmm.
That looks…kind of creepy. Also K-12? The content looks too old for the younger ones and the style looks too young for the older ones.
But also…
What?! That’s a new one to me, but if true…well, one wonders what the thinking is. (It doesn’t come up on the top results on Google.)
Scrolling through its tweets it seems to be about pushing “gender expression” in schools, because it’s so urgent to teach children to “express” their bespoke “gender.”
Never mind all that frivolous academic stuff about history and science and math, just focus on the important business of Gender Expression with the help of a creepy lewd horse cartoon.
“Gender expression rights protection” – say what? I guess that’s if a boy decides to come to school in a bra and a thong that’s his protected gender expression right.
What does that mean? How do you teach math or history “as if there is always gender diversity in the room”?
It seems to be the work of these two guys:
The goal seems to be to raise a generation of the most self-obsessed people in the history of the world.
Is gegi the unicorn just pedobear in a costume?
Haven’t you heard? That is all western imperialism, and as such it should not be taught. We need to be teaching rainbows and make up and two spirits and…and…and…
Seriously, I was reading not too long ago about a resource guide for K-12 teachers in either Washington or Oregon that taught teachers how to teach math in a culturally diverse classroom, which seemed to have something to do with not actually teaching math, and accepting that 2+2=369 if the student believes it does, because math is just a tool of western imperialism.
If our species can survive the constant barrage of nonsense from the woke-left and the rabid right, it’ll be some sort of miracle, I’m sure, if you’ll forgive the blatantly religious language.
So I scroll farther down the front page and I see this abomination again.
Why does the horse’s second eye appear to have popped out of the horse’s head and moved towards the center? Is it like a flounder’s eye, that migrates to the other side of the body?
I guess a “unicorn” is a cross between a horse, a narwhal, and a flounder. Complicated, and that’s before you even get to that gender identity stuff.
Pedocorn sprained it winking so hard at little children.
It’s not a real eye it’s a trans eye.
If not enough kids click on the links are they going to drive around in a white van with “FREE CANDY “ on the side?
This couldn’t be creepier if it were a parody.
I’m going to have to step in here to argue in favour of teaching math with ‘gender diversity’ in mind. I’ve written here before about listening to unthinkingly misogynistic, and downright creepy and threatening, language and metaphor in advanced math class–I honestly think it put me off continuing to study math once I achieved my minimum requirement. I think at least some of girls’ and women’s ‘I hate math’ has to do with the fact that there are plenty of math teachers who consciously or unconsciously make it clear to their students that math is for males.
guest, my algebra teacher did that. I didn’t find out I could do math until I was in college.
I do think, though, that suggestions to pretty much throw out things like 2+2=4 is going too far. There are a lot of ways you can bring girls into the fold without getting stupid about it. Like, not making the classroom a boys club of frat boy type nonsense so the girls are just sitting there staring at their desk wishing they could sink through the floor.
