Your ideas are embarrassingly bad
There is some useful bluntness in this thread:
I think “and it never will” is over-confident…but at the same time I also don’t see how the ideology ever could map onto how most people experience reality. Trans women aren’t ever going to gestate and push out babies, so…
I gotta say I love that one. Your ideas are shit and you only have three anyway.
And a lot of it is their fault for saying it’s not their job to educate us. It is if they are advocates. But since they tell us “do your own research”, we do. And what we find may not be exactly what they want us to see. Like with Martina Navratilova. She did her own research, kept her mind open, and discovered the rot at the heart of trans ideology.
Same with a lot of us on this site. Many of us were on the side of trans, or didn’t care but thought they should have rights. Finding out who they were, what they were, and what they really believed about themselves (TWAW) changed our minds for good. (In both meanings of for good.) Watching a young male beat up an elderly woman for attending a meeting removed any remaining doubts I might have had that the trans cultists have something real going. There weren’t many doubts remaining at that time, but any that were are now history.
With all due respect to the author (it is a ripping thread), I’m going to disagree on the three ideas.
“Intersex people exist” isn’t their idea, it’s their “gotcha!” to back up their actual idea, which is that sex doesn’t exist, or if it does it is impossible to define, difficult to discern, and only used for bigotry and for no justifiable reason.
This follows to idea two: that anything for women that defines women in any objective way is bigotry. Therefore all women’s things must include men or be shut down, because of “fairness and inclusion”.
Idea three: trans will kill themselves or others. It is cis people’s fault when this happens, and they should feel ashamed.
Idea four: the only people who can be trusted on trans issues are trans people. Cis people cannot be trusted on anything unless they are agreeing with the right trans people.
Idea five: only trans people may define anything, including cis people.
Regarding ‘not their job to educate’, they were kind of stuck with that as their only practical option. The thing for which they advocate is an illogical and self-contradictory mess, meaning anyone trying to argue it out is virtually guaranteed to be frustrated day in and day out. Small wonder then that their other common refrain is that explaining things via tweets, blog posts, comment sections etc. is ’emotional labour’ for which they ought to be paid.
They don’t seem to be ‘[arguing] male rapists should go to women’s prisons, simply on their say so,’
They are screaming: ‘you aren’t allowed to mention that problem!’ ‘Brown-skinned teenagers will kill themselves if you do that!’
