The most secure in American history
How about that.
“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history. Right now, across the country, election officials are reviewing and double checking the entire election process prior to finalizing the result.
“When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary. This is an added benefit for security and resilience. This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors. There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.
“Other security measures like pre-election testing, state certification of voting equipment, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) certification of voting equipment help to build additional confidence in the voting systems used in 2020.
“While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too. When you have questions, turn to elections officials as trusted voices as they administer elections.”
Official link we can copy and paste on social media, including the emphasis — “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”

I was wondering what the situation was this time around with vote machine hacking–but I guess the huge reliance on mail-in ballots this year made that less of a threat.
So now Trump is happy with Fox again? He retweets (flagged again!) some serious hogwash by lapdog Hannity >> https://mobile.twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1327095398712946695 that is completely false and unjustified. He calls it a “takedown” as if Hannity’s vacuous claims have somehow beaten the facts, simply because Hannity said it. Trump’s version of a takedown is exactly this. This is what Don Jr. and Eric think too, that if they simply shout the bullshit loud enough it will magically come true. Trump and his minions have lost all credibility. There are no facts in their world anymore, only their baseless propaganda. These people need to be gone.
Trump’s position is dire.
All he has to keep himself out of the slammer is bullshit; and he knows it, and Hannity must know it, and the DoJ must know it… I could go on. Fox News… the rest of Murdoch… NYT…. half the Republican Party, 90% of the Democrats, Washington Post… White House staffers.. etc, etc, etc.
(Aside: This is getting monotonous….)
Consider these sentences:
The opposition won despite rigged elections
The opposition won because of rigged elections
If the second makes any sense, someone did a very lousy swamp-draining job…..
So, whose head will roll at DHS?
Odd (not!) how Trump, a lover of superlatives, especially when they relate to him, isn’t crowing from the rooftops that he has just overseen the most secure election in US history.
@AoS:
He is! He’s crowing about it while at the same time saying it was rigged:
Holy shit! That’s some contradiction. It’s almost as though his brain (sic) has given up trying to control his mouth and whatever tiny digits he uses to hammer out tweets. What a plank he is.
