“You and all of your stupid fucking feminist cultists”
Twitter troll hits the big time – Carl Benjamin aka Sargon of Akkad is a Ukipper.
A leading Ukip candidate for the European elections argued that feminism was responsible for a rise in the number of men carrying out mass murders, because the killers felt disenfranchised and “out of options”, it has emerged.
Carl Benjamin, a social media activist who previously tweeted “I wouldn’t even rape you” to the Labour MP Jess Phillips, argued in a now-deleted YouTube video that feminism had caused male mental health to deteriorate, prompting more mass killings.
“This is what feminism has wrought – a generation of men who do not know what to do, who are being demonised for what they are,” said Benjamin, who uses the name Sargon of Akkad on social media.
“Before your stupid social justice feminist bullshit, it didn’t happen on this scale. It’s crazy – this is a disease of the modern age,” Benjamin said in the 2014 video, recorded after the murder of six people in California that year by a 22-year-old man who said the killings were a response to women rejecting him sexually.
“You are responsible for perpetuating it, by disenfranchising these poor fucking guys who don’t have any options left,” Benjamin said.
Benjamin is second on Ukip’s regional list for MEP candidates in the south-west of England should next month’s European parliament elections take place in the UK.
He was among two candidates paraded by Ukip’s leader, Gerard Batten, at a fractious press conference last Thursday, at which Benjamin responded angrily to journalists’ questions about the tweet to Phillips, saying he was being accused of “crimes against political correctness”. Phillips has said she received 600 rape threats after Benjamin’s tweet.
Oh yes, it’s just crazy PoLitical CorRectness to think men shouldn’t use social media to bully women.
“The question you and all of your stupid fucking feminist cultists need to be asking is, why are these men becoming misogynists in the first place? What is this feminist-run society doing to them that is causing them to go insane?” he says.
He adds: “When someone takes the option of absolute, insanely last resort, you have to wonder what kind of system is producing them. And I tell you what, Laci, it is a fucking feminist system that’s doing this.”
The Guardian has asked Ukip to comment.
So women are at fault for getting murdered as well as getting predated upon. Interesting.
Any options for what? Oh, right. Sex on demand from women (preferably supermodels). And who gave these “poor fucking guys” the idea that this was a realistic goal in the first place?
What? I’m sorry. There’s a feminists-run society? Where is this place? I’d like to move there.
Do these people even know what disenfranchised means? Because that is what women were for almost all of human history. It does not mean having people tell you that you are not entitled to demand everything you want from women and have women instantly obey.
Dictionary:
Oh, wait. There’s more.
Or a definition listed as archaic:
Under none of these definitions are men being disenfranchised. The right to sex, the right to own women, the right to have women make you sandwiches on demand – none of these rights exist. Not one of them. At one point, I realize, men were allowed to own women, to have sex with their wife whether she wanted it or not, to have rooms of concubines that had to have sex with them – but the legal permission to do that is not the same as a right, it is merely a statement of a societal tradition someone thought would be good.
All that has happened is that women have moved a few steps up the ladder of society and joined them on the middle and some of the upperish rungs. They have been informed that they are not entitled to everything they want. This is not disenfranchisement, it’s maturity.
At its core the argument is the same as Oger’s. It’s all feminists fault. Why exactly feminists seeking equal rights for women are responsible for murderers and pedophiles isn’t really clear, at least to anyone who can think, but it’s totally feminists fault, apparently.
I find it very frightening when young men come out and say they hate women and want them to be killed, that women deserve to be killed. Of course, it’s obvious that there are men who think that, because there are so many murdered women: but to come out and say it in front of Gawd and everybody… it’s chilling they think it normal and acceptable.
Men can display their rage and hatred and still be considered normal, but Valerie Solanas will forever be considered deeply mentally ill.
Look on the bright side. This rant could all be down to something he smoked, possibly by mistake. Just possibly.
learie, I went to the movies last night to see Roll Red Roll about the Steubenville rapes. It was horrifying how they regarded that girl, and how many of the seemingly nice, normal people in town bought into the idea that her presence at the party, and her drinking, somehow made it all right.
But even more so was the young man who was on the video and kept saying she was dead, you just stuck it in a dead girl, she’s so dead, and laughing the whole time. I saw those videos when that case was big news, and it still took my breath away to see them again. So many people just fail to have empathy for women, so that when the people come around who really hate them, everyone lines up to explain why it isn’t really as bad as it seems.
Why did we have to be born into such a world?
