Alexander Pope, eat your heart out
New level achieved:
George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted. I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!

SPOIIIINNNG!
HA HA! Mr. Kellyanne Conway, geddit? Oh, Trump sure zinged him good! He’s like, less famous than his wife, which makes him like a total loser and not a real man!
Sexist? What? No way! Trump’s not sexist. You’re the sexist! Why, Trump hired Kellyanne, didn’t he? CHECKMATE, LIBTARDS!
Screechy, you’re way too good at this. You need to get a job writing Trump’s tweets. You have it down to an art.
So Trump is saying the KAC conspired with him to prevent her husband getting a job he desired? Putting aside for a moment that GC withdrew his interest in the job prior to any offer being made, or that Trump praised him personally for avoiding working for a ‘weak’ boss (Sessions); the thought that a darling of the religious conservative family values types is clearly stoking tensions between a husband and wife is pretty shocking. He appears to be trying to cause a divorce. Has a President ever publicly done so? What motivation could he possibly have…
Well, to be fair, it’s hard to know what Trump is saying in that clause. He doesn’t actually need help not giving someone a job, and what would giving someone help not giving another someone a job even look like?
iknklast, it’s not like it’s hard. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson’s character in As Good As It Gets, I think of a man, then take away reason, accountability, and emotional control.
I sometimes see people claiming (and I know you aren’t saying this, I’m just using this as a jumping-off point) that Trump has some particular skill at Twitter specifically, or insults in general. But I don’t think I’ve seen him come up with anything yet that even the dullest, got-hired-through-nepotism intern at a late night comedy show wouldn’t have. And the average Trump voter probably has never seen a tweet in his or her life, let alone Trump’s; only 24% of Americans use Twitter, and that skews young, with only 14% of the 50+ crowd using it. I didn’t see other breakdowns, but I’m betting Twitter also skews towards the urban and the educated, who tended not to be Trump voters.
Actually, that may even give him too much credit. Most the high school boys I knew (back in the days when we rode dinosaurs to school) could easily have come up with as good, and better. His tweets are bathroom graffiti level.
