A couple more exhibits at the San Francisco public library’s Degenderettes installation:
Note the barbed wire wrapped around the bottom one. Those bats are not for hitting baseballs, they’re for hitting women.
An axe and a “femme sledgehammer.”
As far as I know these are still there, still on display. In a public library.
The double-edged axe, the labrys, is a symbol beloved by lesbians. It has been associated with both lesbianism and matriarchy.
So in addition to threatening violence against women who don’t accept that male people can be women, these males are appropriating symbols dear to lesbians. (Actual lesbians. Who don’t have penises.)
They secretly must know the gender critical feminists are right. That’s why they want to hurt us.* The religious right thinks trans is BS too, but their reason for thinking it’s BS is nonsense, so the genderists don’t feel existentially threatened by them and don’t bother chanting about hurting them. The radfems on the other hand …
I say “us” because I am one. I’m not saying anyone else here is one.
I think the main reason they want to hurt us is just misogyny. It’s such a fabulous chance to rage at women, to threaten women, to direct flaming hostility toward women, while at the same time continuing to seem to be right-on and progressive.
That’s becoming more difficult than it was a few years ago though. There’s a lot more resistance now.
I think there may also be some rage at lesbians (and to some extent queer men) because they show that you can have characteristics considered to be of the opposite sex (in this case, sexual attraction) and not automatically think that makes you the opposite sex.
Do they have a display of ‘Nigger’ hammers-bats-axes?
SF Public. Home of the James C. Hormel Center. How fallen are we?
iknklast #4, Don’t forget the rage at lesbians who don’t want to sleep with males who identify as women. They are said to be “vagina fetishists”, “pussy fetishists”, “dick haters”, etc. Remember, gals, “if you aren’t attracted to male people, you are a pussy fetishist.”
I assume I do not need to point out the similarities between this mentality and that of incels
(Similarity, hell. It’s the same thing, innit?)
