President Racist
President Trump used a White House event honoring Navajo veterans of World War II on Monday to utter a favorite Native American-related insult of a political opponent, deriding Senator Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas.”
Standing in the Oval Office alongside three World War II Navajo code talkers, Mr. Trump made the unscripted comment after other officials praised the veterans’ history and contributions.
“You were here long before any of us were here,” Mr. Trump said as he turned to look at the code talkers. “Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas.”
I wish someone would throw him, fully clothed, into a sewage tank.
Mr. Trump’s use of “Pocahontas” has drawn objections in the past from a number of Native Americans, many of whom regard his mention of the historical figure as offensive and divisive.
But on Monday, the White House defended the remark. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, said the name was not a racial slur.
“What most people find offensive is Senator Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career,” Ms. Sanders said.
I wish someone would throw her into that tank right beside Trump, and then throw rotting cabbages at their heads.

The sewage and rotten cabbages would leap out of the tank to escape the unwelcome, close proximity of these two.
‘They call her Pocahontas’ They? Who is They? I think only one person thinks this is funny.
“They” call her Pocahontas? Who the fuck are “they”?!? It’s YOU! Only you call her that. Literally no-one else.
Also, I think the most troubling thing is not the tired repeat of “Pocahontas” specifically, but the fact that Trump can’t stay focussed on simply honoring a group of people who deserve it without deviating off-topic to make an unrelated dig at someone.
Doh. Spent too long writing my comment. Guest’s wasn’t there when I started. Sorry for the pointless repeat…
Don’t forget to attach a millstone, they might be floaters.
The repeat isn’t actually pointless, more like an underlining.
The failure to focus on the people being honored BUT ALSO that grotesque embarrassing-relative tic of not being able to interact with a minority group without shouting “INDIAN JOKE” or “NIGGER JOKE” or whatever else applies. You know? It reveals that he can’t be in a room with Native Americans without 1. remembering his favorite InjunInsult and 2. BLURTING IT OUT.
He can’t even fucking focus on what they did that’s being honored long enough to talk about that and nothing else, no, he has to interrupt the very purpose of the event to shout a racist insult into their faces.
I wish I could set him on fire.
Has anyone ever seen Trump and Boris Johnson in the same room together?
Graham @8, I don’t think they’re the same person. He couldn’t possibly wash that spray tan off fast enough to pose as Johnson, even if he could dart quickly across the Atlantic.
Unless, clones…..
Nah, Boris is a bumbling, conservative, racist, sexist arse wipe; but he’s also educated and nominally polite in that upper class English self-entitled and oblivious to other classes way.
Rob @9. Good points well made. Maybe it’s the hair…
Exactly what Ophelia says at #7:
‘.. tic of not being able to interact with a minority group without shouting “INDIAN JOKE” or “NIGGER JOKE”…’
Which is partly because the only people with whom he communicates (in as real a way as he’s capable) are non-minorities. He’s calling out to them “Hey, look, I’ve got minorities here!” because the minorities are never the people he’s with, even if they’re all there because of them.
Rob & Graham, I’d say Prince ‘do you still eat people?’ Philip , the Duke of Edinburgh, was more Trump’s spiritual bro’ than Boris.
AoS: I see where you’re coming from, although I think Phil the Greek’s racism is more of the clueless than the malicious variety.
