A heavily armed church
If you are an evildoer wishing to bring harm to the members of River at Tampa Bay Church, don’t expect congregants to turn the other cheek.
They’ll blast you.
So says a sign at the church, at 3738 River International Drive in Tampa, that delivers a stark warning to anyone thinking of wreaking havoc.
“PLEASE KNOW THIS IS NOT A GUN FREE ZONE,” it reads. “WE ARE HEAVILY ARMED — ANY ATTEMPT WILL BE DEALT WITH DEADLY FORCE — YES WE ARE A CHURCH AND WE WILL PROTECT OUR PEOPLE.”
The message is signed “THE PASTORS.”
The sign at the 21-year-old church was put up about a year ago, said Associate Pastor Allen Hawes.
If I were a churchy person that sign would make me turn around and find another church.
Turn the other church, to coin a cheek.
Did they accidentally a word or there? Eerily verily.

Rrr, I think they accidentally at least three words; two or more following ‘attempt’ and another after ‘with’.
Way to shore up declining membership…
AoS, the last one is obiously another with. The first must be left as an exorcism for the casualty reader.
Unless the congregation regularly drills together in tactical simulations, they’re going to kill a lot more of each other than any rampaging shooter will.
Rrr, I thought the last one should be ‘using’, and I can only assume that ‘any attempt’ precedes ‘at rationality’ .
