Oh gosh, it turns out we’ve been wrong all this time, science says trans women are NOT men. The proof is these blue box-thingies with words in them.
And then of course there’s the highlighted third sentence: “Trans women are not men.” Knockout blow. There’s just no arguing with a “not” in all caps and a highlighted “are not men.” Time to pack up and go home.
In the words of a great thinker, “facts have to be also shown.”
‘I tought it would be interesting to share as I’m runner myself.’ Jesus, learn to write. You’re an advisor to a government minister, for crying out loud.
‘Biophysiological differences exist.’ OK, tell us what they are.
“At what point is a girl “too good” to be accused of being trans? Sorry, that doesn’t make sense. If you meant ‘so good that she’s accused of being trans’ then there is no point at which that happens. How many female athletes can you name who have been accused of being trans because they’re at the top of their game? Nobody seriously accuses female elite athletes of being trans; we accuse female-identifying male athletes of being cheats. Different thing completely.
This is the same “Nathanielle” who previously beat a field of female runners in a 5K by over five minutes? And he wants us to think it’s because he’s so super-sporty, not because he’s a man? Bollocks.

Honestly, 25:32 is not even a great time for a man. He would only have come in third in that race in the men’s division (and, apparently, I would have won it – I could run 5K in 20 flat in my 30s). Seriously, this is not a very competitive race.
If we want to look at competitive, we’re talking about times well under 20. The world record for a men’s 5K is 12:49, and for women it’s 14:13 (the kid who won my race did it in 16). Nathanielletterina is not a good runner. Just a creep who takes advantage of people.
Yep the same, I did a post on the Reduxx piece as you were asking.
I like the biological diversity argument. It is like saying that since there is such a wide diversity of heights among men and among women, it is not true that men are generally taller than women. This is such bad logic that anyone using it should be ignored.

His tweet certainly could have used some proof-reading. But keep in mind that Canada has two official languages; ministers themselves don’t need to speak both.

Obviously that tweet is a mess, but if I could single out one component… that xkcd-esque ‘graph’ in picture one. It depicts the distribution of sex traits as a very loosely bimodal bell curve, perfectly in line with what they are trying to sell but also incredibly inaccurate. Here is my rendition of the same thing in a similar style:
Keen observers will notice I swapped to a column graph rather than the curve plot. Putting male and female on a single axis suggests – again, perfectly in tune with their con and perfectly untrue – they are each a sliding scale, where more of some unspecified trait means a person is more male or more female. But of course this is not the case. A person with male anatomy is male, all male, even if he might not be particularly masculine. A person with female anatomy is likewise entirely female. There is no ‘more male/female’ to be had.
And it is worth emphasizing that all intersex conditions COMBINED give us that estimated 0.02 – 0.05% range, showing just how much of a lie that bullshit graph is. Even if we grant the frequently cited but quite false figure of 1.7%, that curve still heavily oversells the proportion of intersex people.

Did you, like me, get a whiff of Tweety running through your mind when you saw it? “I tawt I saw a puddy tat!
Ok, the site doesn’t like the html wrapping I used for the link. Here is the plain URL:

Holms, yes, it definitely has a Tweety-Pie ring to it, but these days Tweety would be in trouble for assuming Sylvester’s species.
