I wonder, for the people who choose not to go back to work for the CDC (and who could blame them, given how unstable the working conditions have become), if this will affect their unemployment insurance eligibility. If it turns out they weren’t laid off after all, does that put their UI benefits in limbo, and potentially force them to go back to work or quit without UI eligibility?
