In the same venue, the Sheldonian. He's sharing that platform with Sophie Grace Chappell. I hope their moderator provides some pushback. But I'll note that the moderator is, like both panellists, a man, so this is a manel talking about a subject that largely affects women 2/9
A man and a man and a man in a flouncy skirt (“Sophie Grace” likes to wear very retro 1950s-ish girly costumes) – getting together to cheer on the continued erasure of women.
I would have shared a platform with Constantine – it was he who said No, and if you want to hear a manel on his "Cis Defence of Trans Realities" you can buy a ticket (link in 1st tweet). The others can find their own audiences, thanks. I'm not imposing them on mine. 9/9

On one level, I don’t get this. What activist would pass up a chance to challenge such a high-profile opponent in a public forum? Wouldn’t any good human rights crusader relish the chance to poke holes in their opponent’s position? He might claim a moral purity that precludes him breathing the same air as Joyce, but it also conveniently relieves him of the burden of having to explain why Joyce is wrong and he is right. By running away (which he is doing) Sandis gets to conceal the fact that his own “arguments” don’t hold water.
