He KNOWS he is a man now. What he believed in the past is irrelevant. He is choosing to brutalize women for fun and profit. He KNOWS he is not good enough to fight with his fellow men. He is, IMHO, an evil man.
According to @CaptainVirgilX in another tweet, Khelif has 5-alpha reductase deficiency. I have seen no other confirmation of this, it all seems to derive from comparisons with Caster Semanya that I have seen, but if so, Khelif is a man with ambiguous genitalia at birth. It does not matter that the culture raises such people as female (though perhaps it reflects on that culture’s perception of sex and societal role), male = not female = man.
I doubt he accepts that he’s male. He grew up being told he’s not male, lots of people around him say he’s female, lots of people around him get angry at those who say he’s male. There are a lot of men and boys who are unequivocally accepted as male but who nonetheless decide to “identify” as female, and they get accepted just as vigorously, so it would be reasonable for him to expect at least that much. If he’d never had that genetic test, he wouldn’t know, he’d just be this very masculine woman who is a damn good boxer.
There is a TV movie version of Twain’s Pudd’nhead Wilson. A key character is a young man who looks white but is the son of slave (who also looks white), the woman who acts as his Nanny. The young man thinks he is the white firstborn of the wealthy owner. He eventually finds out Nanny is actually his mother, but doesn’t change a damn thing about his obnoxious behavior. He is eventually found out and made a slave. The look on his face in the movie, as he is sent off to his new life, is one of shock and devastation, even though he “knew” this was the situation and the likely result.
That Slate article. Ouch. Right off the bat they refer to “anti-trans activists”, missing the point that these activists are anti-men-in-women’s-sports, and then they say “but these athletes aren’t trans”. Well, duh. The point is they’re male.

The standard lefty media is all over the They iz a womyn idea. See Slate.
Have you all seen this dumpster fire from “scientific” American?
https://www.scientificamerican.com/podcast/episode/sex-testing-in-the-olympics-and-other-elite-sports-is-based-on-flawed/
Wow.
Wow indeed. Even apart from the substance, it’s so teenagery. Are they both 15? I remember when SciAm had articles by actual adult scientists.
Like this for instance?

Very shall we say orthodox.

Carole Hooven commenting on this anywhere? I’m sure she’d have some interesting things to say…
Yes. I nearly shared a tweet of hers earlier.

Thank you for that, just what I was looking for…
De nada.
