Didn’t he do a grinning, thumbs up photo-op at a hospital when he was visiting wounded survivors of a mass shooting during his time defiling the Oval Office?
Every camera present, whatever the occassion, is a chance for Trump to advertise and reinforce his Brand. Wherever he is, he’s the most important person there, and his needs are the only ones that matter. Pandemic, forest fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, mass murder: you name it, he makes himself the centre of attention. Everything is a backdrop to his relentless, suffocating narcissism. You’d almost think the guy was trans.
According to Adam Kinzinger, Cox has received significant pushback over his involvement and support of this stunt. As a veteran Kinzinger wasn’t displaying much sorrow for Cox and had utter disgust for Trump and everyone else involved in the campaign.
I just don’t get the family involvement. Even if they’re utter maggat’s, surely they don’t see standing at their loved ones grave inanely grinning with thumbs up as a suitable remembrance?
If this is the family I’m thinking of, they appear to be sincerely angry at Biden for the manner of the Afghanistan withdrawal. So they may see the thumbs-up mugging as just helping achieve “justice” for their dead relative.
Or, their dead relative is simply their “in” to getting to meet their hero and become the MAGA flavor of the month.
Cosplaying in a role he was/is incapable of fulfilling, hoping cosmetics, ill-fitting clothes, platforms in his shoes and insulting anyone who questioned his presidencyness, then surrounding himself with multiple GOP enablers and MAGAs who were happy to deny the reality.
There’s a potential PhD, comparing the trans mania and Trump mania; any takers?
Who DOES that?

YNnB I’m pretty sure I posted about that. Will see if I can find it…
That was easy.

I was going to make a comment about “the only thing missing in the grave-site photo is someone in a wheelchair”.
Then I looked at the whole grave-site photo.
On the left is a man with two prosthetics, one arm one leg. He was cropped out of that top photo.
Trump was a Transpresident.
