Angela Carini won a silver medal at the 2019 European Championships, then another silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. She is an excellent boxer with a stellar record, winning more than 75% of her matches. How dare Eltahawy, from her armchair, dismiss everything Carini has accomplished and say she doesn’t even belong in a boxing ring.
Khelif defeated Luca Anna Hamori of Hungary, Janjaem Suwannapheng of Thailand, and Yang Liu of China, in his pursuit of a women’s gold medal at the Olympics. How dare Eltahawy ignore these other opponents and pretend that it’s all about “a white woman”, all about that first match and nothing else.
You mean convincing people you are female with no evidence?
Do you have to be ‘card carrying’ to be a woman?
issued by racist transphobes
You mean people who know the difference between males and females?
What does it have to do with race? Isn’t that playing “the race card” itself?
is its own olympian effort
Is it Olympian to play in a category that you have an unfair advantage in?
Is it really that hard for a man to convince the gender activists that he’s a woman these days?
Did you mean it’s or its? Did you mean Olympian or olympian?
but one in which the goal posts constantly move.
What goal posts? The sex binary is more like the 50 yard line, or the net. You are on one side or the other. You don’t achieve a goal by being a particular sex, you are one or the other. Analogy much? Is Khalif on the wrong side of the net, and if so, why are you OK with that?
We aren’t the ones moving the goalposts for being a man or woman. That’s literally the purpose of Genderism. We’re the ones trying to hold the posts in one place.
That was my point NiV, there are no “goal posts,” for that implies a playing field, which by analogy could be seen as a “spectrum” that doesn’t exist. It’s more like a fence than anything. You can be born on the male side of the fence, and if you go one way you can resemble more feminine stereotypes, the other way more masculine, but you can never jump the fence, no matter how much greener it looks on the other side. Yes, the purpose of genderism is to blur the lines, or to erase a binary boundary that can’t be erased, or make it look like there is a spectrum where there isn’t one, biologically speaking.
Francis, that reminded me of a part of Ricky Gervais’ routine about identity in his last Netflix special, Armageddon. I’m paraphrasing here, but it went something like ‘Queer? You’re a married man; you have a wife; how are you queer? What? Oh, you have blue hair. Right. And your wife’s queer as well, you say? What does she do that ma….oh, blue hair, too.’
“Transphobes?” But I thought that this wasn’t about trans. Does he claim to be trans? If he’s being touted as “trans” by other people, that kinda proves that they believe that he was actually male to begin with.
Then again, consistency, coherence and integrity aren’t exactly thei genderists’ strong suit.
From the “Liesweek ” post:
Then how is it, many people have asked, that we can see all those photos of this Muslim girl hugging “her” male trainer and sitting on his shoulders while he grips “her” thighs?
Eh? Look at that – “her crotch” is pressed against his head, and his hands are on “her” naked thighs. Algeria is cool with that?
Yeah, like they’d be doing that if the boxer was actually female. They all know he’s not. And so do we. They’re just rubbing our noses in having gotten away with it.
I do wonder how much of this might be fueled by the colonial history between Algeria and France?

That’s a load of stupidness for one sentence.
“Tears of a white woman.”
Funny how people accuse others of being racist while failing to see their own racism.
Look in the mirror Mona.

I’m afraid she’s gone full fluoro. Never go full fluoro!
