The repellent front pages on Mars
Just a straight-up lie. Many people have lined up to point out that there are no such front pages. No newspapers are glorifying the children who killed Brianna Ghey. (It would be extremely odd if there were. What would that even look like?)
Good trick, the “I’m not going to share because they’re so repellent” stance. You’re not going to share because they don’t exist. If they did, you would splash them all over your feed, and make sure everyone saw how awful your opponents are.
Since many news outlets appear to be trans-captured rather than transphobia-captured, your complaint is just nonsense.
“Glorify” must mean “show their pictures and names”.
In the minimal sense, I almost get it. There are always calls to remember the names and images of the victims rather than the perpetrators, saying that notoriety is the same thing as fame.
But I don’t think that’s really true. People who have done (or been accused of doing) bad things are often hurt a great deal by having their names and images plastered all over the news media. There is much controversy over the local practice of showing mug shots and naming defendants in showy articles on the front page of the newspaper before any trial has taken place, and then absolutely nothing if the defendant is acquitted. I cannot consider that “glorifying”. More like “condemning”.
