Fundamental rights? Fundamental rights?? Are you serious? Do you have the adults locked in a closet somewhere?
It is indeed a sign of respect for gender idenniny, and that’s another reason I wouldn’t do it in a million years.
I can’t (and of course won’t) “respect people’s pronouns” because there’s no such thing as “people’s pronouns.” There are only pronouns. We don’t have our very own adjectives and we don’t have our very own pronouns, either. Geddoverit.
Only to people who don’t know (or care probably) why truth matters.

I seem to be surrounded by pronoun people, but until now had never thought to advance the discussion by asking them for their adverbs and adjectives. The next few weeks should be fun. :-)
Being involved in theatre, I constantly find myself annoyed by the unsolicited announcement of pronouns. I haven’t given any pronouns when asked, but maybe from here on out, I will provide them with I/Me/Mine. Those are ‘my’ pronouns, because they are the ones I use to refer to me.

One of my adjectives is “gorgeous”. Everyone must refer to me as such whenever mentioning me. It shows respect for my appearance identity.
