Sure boys, go right ahead
Women’s Rights Network reports:
In December 2021, the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) approved a policy paper proposing that officers be permitted to strip and even intimately search suspects of the opposite sex if the officer self-identified as the same “gender” as the person being searched.
In other words male cops can grope female suspects if the male cops claim to be women.
The policy – which has been accepted and is now being implemented by the majority of police forces across the country – does not refer to the protected characteristic of sex. Instead, it proposes that self-identified “gender” [be] used in place of sex in contravention of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE). PACE states that searches involving the removal of more than outer clothing are required to be conducted by, and only in the presence of, an officer or staff member of the same sex, and out of public view.
By “outer clothing” do they mean coats and sweaters? Or do they mean everything but underwear? Because I don’t think men should be searching women who are stripped down to underpants, or underpants and bras.
The policy paper made it clear that anyone who objects to being searched by a member of the opposite sex, and any officer refusing to carry out such a search, may be the subject of a hate crime or a non-crime hate incident if this is based on “discriminatory views”.
This is not a hypothetical situation. Many forces already have officers who identify as the opposite sex including West Midlands where 12 officers identified as the opposite sex when asked in February 2023.
Women can get hauled in by the police for calling a man a man, and now we learn that they can then be stripped and searched by men who pretend to be women.
Utopia, right?
How can so many allegedly responsible people LOSE THEIR FUCKING MINDS?
This is just nuts. Who in the hell could ever think this was a good idea? At all. This is no different than basing police regulations and procedures on the shape of somebody’s soul, or the colour of their aura. Police officers don’t have “gender identities,” they have bodies; officers aren’t strip searching “gender identities” they are searching physical, material bodies. Part of trans ideology is that people are born into the wrong body. (But of course this mismatch is – somehow – supposed to be handled by ruling in favour of the invisible “gender identity,” rather than the more obviously sensible flesh within which it is supposedly trapped, like Sagan’s invisible dragon-in-the-garage.)
Bodies are real and visible; trans “identities” are to be accepted on faith. How much of policing accepts anything on faith? Do suspects claiming innocence typically get let go? No. Are suspects rusually eleased without bail? No. Are parolees allowed to promise to be good, with no monitoring or follow-up? No. But claiming to be women? That’s fine; they’ll believe that. Send in the female officer to deal with his boner! But it doesn’t stop there; They’ll even go so far as to send you to a women’s prison when you are found guilty (despite your repeated, sincere professions of innocence). They’ll let you get away with Plan B.
And as for trans identified male officers? Here’s your daily reminder: HUMANS CAN’T CHANGE SEX. YOU ARE NOT WOMEN. YOU WILL NEVER BE WOMEN. JUST. STOP. That the police services for which these men work are allowing this abuse is grotesque beyond belief. These officers are not women, and never will be women; stop pretending that they are. Stop forcing the public (particularly women in police custody) to accept them as such. There are laws against entrapment, that prevent police officers from engaging in criminal activity and inducing innocent people to join them in it. Well, these male officers are claiming to be something that they are not* and can never be, and acting as agents of the state while doing so. These actions include sexual assault. How can this be legal?
*There is something fundamentally wrong about an institution which is (ideally) supposed to be about public trust in the honesty and truthfulness of police officers that “trans” identities would seem to violate. Trans identites are a lie; they do not (and thus should not) override the sexed, material body. Similarly, such identities violate the trust that the public puts in the health care system to deliver medical treatment with safety and dignity. Policies that base staff assignment to patients, or patient assignment to wards based on gender identity rather than sex is unethical. That resistance to these unethical practices are met with punishment and sanction from the state authorities implementing them is unsconcionable.
While trans identified individuals should have the same rights to safety, employment, accomodation, etc.,that everyone else has, that should not require accomodating the claimed identity. That is not a right. Change your name, dress how you like, but you’re forever the sex you were born, and nobody should be forced to pretend otherwise, or be required to give you access to facilities, opportunities, positions, etc. intended solely for the use and benefit of the sex you are not and never will be.
And, since gender is ‘fluid,’ the officer could re-idennify as male as soon as he’d finished groping the prisoner.
In considering this situation, I have concluded that I do have a gender identity after all. It’s reactive, and contrary, immediately flipping to the opposite of the gender of any person who touches me. I just need to make up an almost unpronounceable name for it. Hmmmm…
