Sorry for interrupting but
It’s International Women’s Day so the Oxford Mail observes it with…
Retired Oxford soldier, 87, among UK’s oldest trans women | Oxford Mail
Dee Hawley lived as David for most of her life before finally coming out as trans in her late 70s.
She has since undergone breast implant surgery but has so far held back on full reassignment surgery.
Before coming out as trans, the dad-of-three lived in Oxford with her wife of 62 years, before moving to Moseley in Birmingham.
So obviously he’s exactly the right person to chat with on International Women’s Day.
I was scanning the excerpt waiting for the part about the military background (as any man who chooses to get artificial breast implants in his eighties is a textbook autogynephile, and the ones who “act it out” publicly are more often than not retired soldiers), and then I saw that it was right there in the headline.
At the age of 87, that ‘so far’ looks weird as hell. No responsible surgeon would ever perform deeply invasive surgery on someone that old for mere cosmetic reasons.
So weird that it could be a bit of stealth mockery.
