Soon
Willoughby longs for a trans woman to be murdered so that he can claim they are Uniquely Vulnerable.
Labour MP Jess Phillips took more than five minutes to read a list of women killed over the past 12 months where the perpetrator or suspect was a man.
Before entering the Commons chamber on Thursday, she had to add another name to the list in pen – that of Helen Harrison, who was found dead in Yorkshire on Sunday.
Bereaved families, including the newly formed group Killed Women, reacted angrily to the fact that just three male MPs were present for the reading of the names a day after International Women’s Day.
Well, you know how it is: they’re just women. The boring kind, not the glamorous exciting trans kind that we can all be so thrillingly ProGressive about.
Does Willy mean that a transgender will murder somebody again soon? Because that will happen. It happens more than the other way around.
One might call this a TRA desire for a “Trans Floyd”. They want some event to act as a catalyst, and they know that murder works. It doesn’t matter that women are murdered at a higher rate or that trans-identifying sorts are more likely to be the offender than the victim, because media are captured by Genderism and the political environment is increasingly reflexive.
Good point. They have martyr envy.
A natural fit with the Holocaust envy they evince every time trans activists accuse their critics of planning Trans Genocide.
Yes, they have martyr envy, but it’s more in the category of martyrdom by proxy. They want the martyrdom status so long as someone else gets to do the dying.
That sounds fair.
I think this perverse desire for one of their number to be martyred might go hand-in-hand with the way that the movement constantly escalates their power grabs. As their provocations become increasingly difficult to ignore, it becomes ever more likely that someone will react in a way that can be the flashpoint. Even if no one gives them their Trans Floyd, they still win by taking more and more political and social ground. If they do get their Trans Floyd, though, they’ve already prepared to take advantage of it and shape popular media regarding it.
Most believers probably aren’t aware of this strategy, but members of the Inner Party almost certainly know what they’re doing. It’s not like they really make an effort to hide their strategy. They write books and make flashy websites openly discussing this and more.
I believe there have been more people killed by transgenders in UK than there have been transgenders killed by normies (in the last decade or so). This past couple of years in the USA have seen a couple of trans family annihilators and several trans mass shooters. Wonder what a yearly memorial reading of the names of those who have been victims of trans would look like?
It’s also really instructive to look at the page on “decision dilemmas”. ( https://beautifultrouble.org/tool/put-your-target-in-a-decision-dilemma ) Which amounts to putting your opponent in a lose-lose situation. If they don’t react, you get to do whatever you want, so they lose and you win. If they do react, you predicted their reaction and set them up to have public opinion turn against them. (Drag queen story hour, anyone? If we shut up and take it, they get to groom kids. If we object, they have the captured media portray us as bigots. Checkmate, feminists!)
Given the end result of the real Floyd, would that really all be that great for them or is it just an anticipation of social justice grifting they’re salivating over?
The Drag Queen Story Hour thing is just dumb though; if people want to bring their kids in to be read to by a DQ that’s they’re own damn business.
Mostly a Trans Floyd, properly set up, would allow them to exploit how they’ve set up the sociopolitical environment in order to claim extreme persecution. (“It’s a trans genocide, and these radical feminist witches are to blame! We need to burn them and set up special
privilegesprotections for us.”) The Idea is to ride the wave of emotional reaction to ram sweeping change through. The primary provocation with DQSH is when something like an elementary school does one. My schools, for instance, used to have speakers and such at assemblies.
Ah, here’s the full text on “Drag Pedagogy”: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/03626784.2020.1864621
It’s rather upfront about the purpose of the project being to use the classroom to introduce and prepare children for “alternative modes of kinship”, encourage rule breaking, destabilize the teacher-student dynamic, etc. All the things we talk about being problems, like messaging that places hetero- and homosexuality in the boring, unspecial, uncool category, leading to kids’ naturally seeking out the TQ+ in order to be interesting, special, and cool? In there, too.
Of course, they would probably motte & bailey that shit if cornered by a nonbeliever.
Well, since the trans activists have adopted the practice of posthumously transing the dead, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before all manner of alarming murders of the trans community come to light.
I can’t say that I ever expected to see an academic paper co-authored by someone called “Lil Miss Hot Mess.”
The full title is “Drag pedagogy: The playful practice of queer imagination in early childhood.” Nulius wasn’t kidding about its being “rather upfront about the purpose of the project.” Red flags for safeguarding right in the title. The paper (which I skimmed) assumes the value and importance of “queerness” in all things. That all things are required to be “queered” or otherwise be examined and criticized from a “queer” perspective. What exactly this “queer” perspective is was not spelled out in the bits I read, but given that those parts often relied on forced teaming between concepts of sexual orientation and “gender identity,” I’m not hopeful that it would be any more coherent or consistent than the lumpy glue used to hold all of the disparate groups that have been forced together under the “trans umbrella,” whether they want to be there or not.
This particular bit stood out:
Are these authors unaware that “transness” itself has been recruited in the enforcement of this “gender policing” they abhor? That gender non-confomity is essentially presented as diagnostic of “transness” rather than opposition to gender norms? We’re being told by trans activists themselves that a boy liking pink, playing with dolls, and dressing in female-coded garments must “really” be a girl. This erases him from the category of of “gender non-conformity” and attemps to mash him into the category “girl” in order to re-establish and protect those evil gender norms that our brave “queer” researchers are so desperate to “playfully” subvert. “Transing away the gay” is anything but playful. How can it be be anything but the homophobic instillment of shame and embarassment in a same-sex attracted child to tell them they’re actually the sex they are not and in fact “straight”? It’s only forced teaming that prevents this whole process from being considered virulently anti-LGB. But add the T, and up is down and black is white; watchful waiting is criminalized as “conversion therapy,” while transing away the gay becomes essential, “life saving” care.
Transing such non-conforming children short-circuits the chance of desistance, substituting an easy, quick, and wrong answer to the hard questions children often face as they grow and mature into self-understanding and self-acceptance. Medically enforced “transness” is, at its heart, a stunting of growth, the prevention of maturity, and a fundamental rejection of self-understanding and the cultivation of self-hatred, as it offers the unfulfillable promise of becoming somebody they cannot ever possibly be. “Transition” is the ultimate in mind over matter, and being prevented from becoming comfortable in one’s own skin. Literally. It relies on the cultivation of horror at one’s own flesh, yet it is marketed as the only way of becoming one’s “authentic self.” How’s that for “queer”?
It’s interesting to me that he goes on about having another trans martyr soon; that suggests it is an abnormal thing to have a trans martyr (and it is). We don’t have to point to “soon”…we have long lists of murdered women. A crucial graphic might be to put the names of all the women murdered this year in one column, and all the murdered transwomen in a column beside it.
Or put all the people murdered by transwomen alongside all the transwomen murdered by “TERFs”.
Of course they’ll lay the death of ANY TiM, killed ANYWHERE on Earth, for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (including those in higher risk lifestyles involving drug use and/or prostitution) at the feet of TERFS because SHUT UP. And they will have been killed specifically because of their transness. There’s a DIRECT LINE between misgendering some autogynophile and the murder of Brazillian transgender prostitutes. (Sometimes that line stretches back into the past, because that’s how these things work.)
YNnB: (My phone actually autocompletes “YNnB” and “iknklast” now. Ha.) It’s pretty brazen, isn’t it? The difficult things, I think, is that their brazenness actually acts as a shield. What they say is so clearly nutty that reasonable people assume the intended meaning can’t be so nutty, and so they come up with interpretations that sound relatively sane.
iknklast: That’s why they spend so much time making “cis” an oppressor class. Their worldview justifies and excuses any and all violence done against the oppressor. Murder, rape, torture, whatever it is is fine if it’s aimed against the superior, if it’s punching up. If “cis” women are oppressors, the fact that they’re more prone to be victims of violence is irrelevant.
