Passive-aggressive bullshit alert:
“Nervous to share this” – what are we meant to conclude from that? That women who know men are not women are mean angry bullies and will say HARSH WORDS to her – so unlike men who never ever say anything harsh to women at all no matter what.
As for her question – the same as in “a female-only ward”? Of course not. Why would they? Does she think male-only wards don’t get lifesaving care? Does she think female-only wards rescue women from death while male-only wards just watch patients die while laughing a cruel laugh?
But of course she’s now doing more passive-aggression by way of thanking people for shielding her from the lethal words of the witchy monster feminist Clytemnestras.
Ah yes, those who have “checked in” to make sure she’s not dedd from all the witchy abuse and disagreement.
Sure. But will the hospital be able to hire enough trans-women to staff a trans-woman only ward? And will there be enough trans-woman patients to make it useful? They are relatively rare, whereas women are 50% of the population.
She might have been nervous that she wouldn’t get the same level of support for pronouncing the shibboleth that she saw other people getting. She wanted in on that social approbation action, but she didn’t know whether she was popular enough.
It’s a test, a proof of one’s social standing. “Am I seen as worthy enough in the cult to be joined by the other cultists? Do I have that degree of influence? Am I that important?” Narcissistic uncertainty and narcissistic excitement get expressed as nervousness, because the implied victim/martyr status is itself an elevation of the self.
Oh no, some terrible people hunted down the tweet that she really didn’t want to “share” and like the ruthless predators they are, when they “found” it they . . made comments. True carnage. I mean, she’s putting a brave face on it but she’s not fooling anyone. She’ll probably need to return to the female-only ward for trauma care.
I’m’a just gonna point out the obvious fact that the transwomen will be more likely to get ‘life-saving’ care in a men’s ward than they would in a woman’s ward, because they have all those internal male bits that doctors are more likely to have experience with in that context. Doctors who serve primarily in women’s wards probably don’t think to check for prostate cancer very often.
