Out of obscurity
Oh what do you know, it turns out that “Lucy” Clark, who is being hailed as the first “trans football referee,” is not some random fella who just happened to be the star of this story, he’s a Celebrity Personality with multiple masks.
They do? They are?
Why yes.
The Victoria Derbyshire chat was March 2019. This guy didn’t just fall off the turnip truck yesterday.
Of course, JKR didn’t change her gender. She remained JoAnn, but because of the marginalization of women, she took on a man’s name. She didn’t try to enter spaces set aside for the opposite sex, or demand sex of people who weren’t interested in her sexual architecture, or any of those things.
This is the problem. They regard all females in history who used a man’s name or persona to be able to live as their “authentic selves” (doctors, writers, all sorts of selves, depending on the woman) as having been ‘trans’.
I have a name and middle name that are ambivalent; my middle name especially is always a man’s name (my first name, not so much). I submit written work using my first initial, my middle name, and my last name. Am I trans?
What “traumatic process” has Clark “gone through”?
