Also note the ‘anti-trans rally attended by Nazis’, not the ‘women’s rights rally gatecrashed by neo-Nazis. As always, discredit the speaker when you can’t discredit the speech.
I’m pretty curious as to the pairing of “abolish the colleges” and “end rape on campus ‘… Either there’s some missing context (can’t see how abolishing the College of Business or Engineering is likely to affect campus rape) or they ran out of space.
In Australian University life, Colleges are student residences, boarding houses, if you like. And over the years more than a few have been hotbeds of sexism, sexual assault, and worse.
However, I doubt any of the past crimes are anywhere near as bad as the misgendering that happens on an hourly basis to our most precious and delightful trans siblings, Snow and Flake.
I suspect I can explain the smuggled in “and sex workers”: it’s likely to do with NSW Member of Parliament Alex Greenwich, and his proposed “Equality” Bill. Passed off as a non discrimination act, it is in fact the full faux progressive laundry list, including Self ID, legalising surrogacy and “sex work”. That last is especially curious, given “sex work” is already fully legalised in NSW, unlike many other Australian states. I’m confident Holly has spoken and/or written in opposition to said bill, hence the student’s ire.

BKiSA, I can explain that.

Well there’s that missing context, thank you…
I love the juxtaposition of those first two bullet points:
– Stop that person I don’t like from talking.
– Protect free speech!
Um, excuse me…
