Kevin Drum points out, on the one hand, that Trump was talking about a (metaphorical) bloodbath in the auto industry, but, on the other hand, it doesn’t really matter what he was talking about, because he catastrophizes everything. It’s all one big bloodbath to him. He uses apocalyptic language all the time.
I don’t think he’s wrong. I also expect a bloodbath if he wins.
