I think I’m missing context. I gather from the screenshot in this tweet that Sarah Champion and others are throwing ferrets randomly into the conversation as a mocking device, is that correct?
The back story is that Labour MPs yesterday blocked a vote on women’s rights by talking about ferrets, and went on to joke about it on Twit. Needless to say, UK terfs find this deeply disgusting.

Private Members’ bills are only allowed a certain amount of time and there are always a lot of them. If one bill runs over the time the next does not get a chance.
There was no time to debate Liz Truss’ bill because MPs (Labour but I think some Conservative) were filibustering. They were giving lists of their pets, talking about ferrets, anything to take up the time.

Seems kind of appropriate really. Ferrets might seem cuddly and loving, and they do have wonderful fur. They’re actually single minded murderous little fuckers that only care about themselves though.
