Don’t you call me sibling
That one little word…
What this driveling fool is trying to make us believe is that “ALL women” includes men who call themselves women, and that if the word “cis” isn’t used then the word “women” means men as well as women.
It’s such a spectacle, watching apparently fully-adult women with serious jobs eagerly giving away women’s rights while patting themselves on the back for doing so.
This is not about faith and belief, also, some women have penises.
Driveling fool.
Such a condescending comment: “Hope this helps”. No, women do not have penises. Yes, the Equality Act covers all women. But since women do not have penises, and since that covers those who once had penises, then the Equality Act does not cover women with penises, because they are not women. Biology 101…did you fail that? Or did you take it under PZ Meyers?
Just to make it clear…the you in the above refers to Theresa Clark, not anyone commenting or posting on this site.
Just curiosity, but is this the same Teresa Clark who was sentenced to four years in prison after three people died as a result of her driving under the influence of Ecstasy? I’m not saying that one criminal act should follow you for the rest of your life, but I think that if that happened to me I’d be inclined to maintain a low profile for quite a long time.
Any lesbians who have penises should probably give them back to their rightful owners. If that’s not possible or practicable, they should dispose of them properly.
Unless they’re whale penises. They can keep those.
So, another forced birther, I guess.
Athel, I don’t think so – the BBC spelled her name Theresa Clarke as opposed to Teresa Clark.
Seems unlikely she would have a high-up job in the Civil Service after that, too.
Interesting that Google ngram viewer shows that in their British English corpus, the term “cis woman” was in 2010 used with about 2% of the frequency it reached in 2019; presumably it would be an even smaller fraction of today’s usage.
I interpret this to indicate that “woman” in 2010 meant to the vast majority of writers what “cis woman” is supposed to mean today. If the legislation had been intended to include TIMs in the class, it would have spelt it out.
This sort of passive-aggression makes me feel all stabby.
Mhm, yes, your team has already made it plain in a thousand different ways that trans > cis, though I guess it is nice of you to openly boast of it instead of trying to pretend otherwise.
