He won the hearts and minds of the American people for very stupid reasons: they want someone to hate the people they hate, and burn the Constitution down. They want to install someone who is an ego maniacal dictator. I have to believe that is the main reason, because Trump has made no secret of who he is.
What I wonder is what reason Dawkins has to think Musk has the welfare of the world at heart.

A relative sent me a video about Musk’s outsize influence on the election (via Twitter and other methods), and it spoke of when Musk “lost his damn mind”; I’m not convinced he’s changed at all except becoming richer and more influential. I don’t think he’s ever had “the welfare of the world at heart”.
Yeah, those awful media, engaging in “propaganda” by putting Trump’s actual words and deeds out there for the world to see and hear. Again, Trump does more to put himself in a bad light every time he opens his mouth than all the media on the planet could possibly have managed since the dawn of time.

I disagree with Dawkins’ assessment of Musk. Sorry Richard, but he’s an idiot.
