Does anyone recognise the flag with the starburst? It’s not a national flag, or the NJ State flag.
I’m thinking it could be a yacht club or similar.
Had the Jan. 6 insurrection succeeded, they would have taken their victory as a sign of God’s approval, but I bet none of them would ever interpret their failure as God’s oppostion to their coup attempt.
NYT identifies the starburst as “a Long Beach Island flag”.
Alito and Thomas are homies; why aren’t people making that obvious connection? They’re damn near always in lockstep…
