My guess is that the revelation that the author of the @JohnsHopkins LGBTQ Glossary was a transwoman activist erasing only women and not men sealed the fate of the glossary. They have begun to look into the source of the glossary’s definitions? Establishing provenance would be Step #0 in any other context.
Dereliction of intellectual, ethical, and epistemic duty is at least consistent with the whole phenomenon, I guess.
Fred Sargent is, as the cool kids say today, based. I spent a nice evening chatting with him right after he was attacked last November, same day,
Until last November, I had no idea who Fred Sargent is. Forgive me, I’m a non-gay and non-American :-)
But right now, along with Dennis Noel Kavanagh, he is a hero. May he live long and prosper.
