One consolation
PROFESSOR Stephen Whittle wants to make sure women don’t get to have women-only wards in NHS hospitals.
Weird that Whittle sees it as cruel and “fascistic” to put men in men’s wards but sweet and angelic to put men in women’s wards. Last I heard men were more of a danger to women than women are to men.
Last I heard of Whittle, she was in a wheelchair tweeting about how she had the bones of a 20 year old man.
But I do feel sorry for the trans women lying in a women’s hospital ward moaning about menstrual cramps while dying of prostate cancer.
Prof. Stephen Whittle OBE, PhD, DLaws, FAcSS, Prize Dickhead.
Hmm. Born in Altrincham in 1955, close to where I Iived in 1955. However, we aren’t all like that.
“OBE, PhD, DLaws, FAcSS” : when I saw this I looked for something relevant, but I didn’t find anything.
It won’t really matter how the drs and nurses feel if their actions end up getting their hospitals or trusts sued for failure to provide/enforce single sex wards.
I’ve been in hospital, and if a man in a dress had been on the ward I would have felt good that some of the society I lived in, and the hospital was cool about that:)
In case anyone’s wondering how much difference single sex wards make, Australian mental hospitals don’t generally do them. So recent investigations uncovered over 1500 rapes in recent years:
