Not saying T=Nazism
So it really is forbidden to talk about LGB, even when LGB is in fact the subject.
But but but but what if it’s a study about LGB people? What if the study is just not about trans people? Isn’t it ok to report on the study?
Apparently not.
Hmm.
The studies of children of gay parents found, iirc, that the children of gay parents were equally well adjusted as children of heterosexual parents. I wonder what the control group was that compared LGB mental health with the mental health of the general population. Was this a “study” or a “survey”? Maybe LGB are more introspectively honest than the general population. I dunno.
maddog, my mother always reported herself as happy on surveys. Anyone who knew her would not call her happy. She knew she was supposed to be happy, a housewife with six kids, she was living the dream. She would never admit to not being happy to the point that, after her stroke, when they put her on medicine for depression, they had to tell her it was something else or she wouldn’t take it.
For the alphabet people, there is a benefit to reporting as unhappy. It keeps the narrative, the one the T are pushing more aggressively than anyone else. They may not be introspective and honest so much as willing to claim a feeling that works for their ‘community’.
For a lot of people, there is no upside, or at least they don’t recognize one, so they will deny their depression or other conditions.
That’s just my observations; not scientific. Feel free to ignore.
Yeah, who’d think that promoting suicidal ideation would be considered a good thing.
But they also have to promote their marginalization and powerlessness in the face of all the governmental and corporate influence and support they receive. What women wouldn’t give to be so “marginalized” and “downtrodden” as trans! WE’RE OPPRESSED GODDAMMIT, AND IF YOU DON”T BELIEVE US WE’LL HAVE YOU SACKED AND ARRESTED!
