Painful. The way he was obviously holding back and then unleashed a sprint that blew the girls away. The comments are revealing. Male athletes decrying how unfair this was. TRA’s outright lying about medical facts, at least one misogynistic ass saying women’s sports should be done away with because they’re so useless compared to guys.

This is perfectly logical and makes good sense. For similar reasons, we should do away with running and biking, as motorized vehicles can obviously cover the same distance much more quickly. Why do we care how long it takes some poor plodding schlub to hoof it over 26.2 miles? A NASCAR driver will get the job done in a fraction of the time.
And don’t even get me started on wrestling. Bunch of puny noodle-muscled hominids pawing feebly at one another. Why bother? Not one of them would last ten seconds against a grizzly bear.
And while we’re at it, why not do away with broccoli and cauliflower? They aren’t nearly as popular as ice cream. (By the way, that would be my idea of hell. I love both broccoli and cauliflower and would struggle to exist in a world without them.)
The evidence continues to pile up that men should not be allowed in women’s sports. it’s getting harder and harder to look away, but people still manage to do so.
I’m on it, but I’m not sure yet. It’s kind of like a cross between long-form Twitter and short form Substack. It’s in Beta, so things change a lot as new features are added or existing ones tweaked. It’s certainly a kinder, gentler place than Twitter. I suspect the original idea was that journalists and media could post their ‘news’ to the site and readers can reward them with points – voluntarily mostly. Some media outlets require 1-5 points to read the article. When you join Post gives you 50 points. you can purchase more if you want to.
I’ve found a number of my regular tweeters have accounts, and I found a person who regularly posts weird and beautiful fungi pictures. I think it’s worth a dabble.

What’s worse–his lack of embarrassment.

I wish Jon Pike was on say Post.news. He’s a good follow.
He is.

Mike, it’s like Simon and Garfunkel said:
That holds regardless of gender identity or personal pronouns.
@6 – really? I’ve searched for him under Jon, Pike, Jon Pike, and all the run think write combos and he hasn’t come up. Do you have a link handy?
Rob – Now I don’t remember what I thought you meant – I’m not sure what Post news is.
Oh, I see what it is. Sorry! I don’t know that he’s on that. Should we all be, is it useful? ARE WE MISSING OUT??

Maybe I’ll stick a toe in.
