How do you know?
Sigh. This isn’t how to go about it.
1,126 shares so far, and 3,582 likes, but – no source. The tweet author says it happened in Hamilton, Ontario, but also that it has not hit the news yet. She doesn’t say how she knows it happened. So – useless. Worse than useless, because being shared.
Come on now. Don’t be reporting stuff like this if you have absolutely nothing besides your own word. It could be a snare for all we know – look at how easily the terfs are fooled blah blah blah.
Updating to add:
So this is a game?
No. If you assert a thing happened you need to (at a minimum) say how you know. That’s all the more true on a hotly contested subject like this.
The reference to 3 female players in GUAM being injured by a TiF does seem to have some basis. NOT Hamilton Ontario, but people seem to have been injured. Right?
The fact that 3 women were injured in Guam a year ago makes this story look all the more peculiar. She claims it happened in Hamilton, Ontario but refuses to say how she knows. Looks more hinky the longer it just sits there. Irritating. I don’t know if she’s a fake gender skeptic trying to entrap people or just clueless.
I get pro-Trans readings from “Medium” (or “Substack” I don’t remember). Today I got something from a female trans-ally. Aw hell, I’ll link to it:

I stopped reading half-way through because it was the usual drivel of undefined terms and missing the point. But she does point to examples of not-too-smart gender critical people saying that celebrities with masculine features must be trans.
Even if some transwomen say that since they can (through surgery, hormones, luck, whatever) appear “prettier” than some “TERFs” it’s proof that they’re a superior form of woman, or TRA’s say stupid things about how Kathleen Stock’s appearance and mannerisms is proof that she’s actually male, … it doesn’t detract from the fact that some critics of the Trans cult aren’t playing with a full deck.
I suspect these are the more right-wing, anti-feminist critics. The people who advocate for rigid gender roles. (The same way that TRA’s do while denying it.)
The issue isn’t how people look. The issue is whether men who think they’re women, or men who want to be women, are supposed to be accommodated by women. Also, the issue is if internalized homophobia, or societal homophobia, is responsible for gays and lesbians (or their parents or the authorities in places like Iran) having medical procedures that they might later regret. Also, the issue is if the notion of “gender” is fabricated and children (confused for whatever reason) are being mutilated in pursuit of a chimera.
The phrasing Murphy used is confusing. I gather from context that this is supposed to be about injuries to women due to tackles by or collisions with a TiM player, but Murphy says “hits sustained by a transwoman”. I’m used to seeing something like “injuries sustained by [injured person]” or “injuries sustained from [source of injury]”. So, I initially thought this was about three women ganging up on a TiM and beating him up or something. But no, I think it’s supposed to be something like “injuries sustained from hits by a transwoman”.
I know. That phrasing is a stumbling block, but from the rest of what she said it’s clear she meant a TIM injured three female players. Her writing is…not the very best.
My comment was an uncompleted thought. My point is that I can see a right-wing, rigid male-female gender/sex categories, right-wing imbecile might take a story from Guam and stupidly, moronically, re-locate it to recently in Hamilton, Ontario.
And, when challenged, respond like a “Q-anon” person and say “Trust in the plan” or “Dig for yourself” or some other such nonsense.
There’s footage of the game in question I think.
It’s recent (7.16.2023), the jerseys match the photo in the tweet and I spotted the trans player in it.
I didn’t bother to look through the whole thing, but here’s the link.

What photo in what tweet?
This one.

Ah. Thanks, I hadn’t seen that thread.
It seems there was a man playing. Murphy has still not presented a single source for her claim that three women were dropped on their heads (or injured in any other way).
Even accounting for backwards American dates – I’m not sure that July 16th 2023 counts as “recent” yet. ;-)
(I’m a big-endian myself, but the only thing worse than a little-endian is a middle-endian!)
The guy in the photo looks familiar. He might have been in the news on this issue a year or two ago.
