There was a conference in London today: Education for Women’s Liberation.
We are thrilled and honoured to welcome Joanna Cherry KC for the opening plenary of #Ed4WomensLib at The Institute of Education.

Of course there were “protests.”
Sitting in a room discussing feminist organising at universities in the face of TRA activism – and there are men leading young women and men to bang on the windows and scream ‘fascist cunts’ at us #Ed4WomensLib pic.twitter.com/BjiFQcYvRf

Very telling that women meeting to discuss their sex based rights brings out the shouty mob-lette of trans activists, bullyingly reminding them that there is NO CONFLICT between trans “rights” and women’s rights, all the while reassuring each other that those attending the conference are the real fascists. We’re just supposed to ignore their obvious belief that there is such a conflict (otherwise what the fuck are they doing there in the first place?) because SHUT UP! Pointing out the conflict is much, much worse than the (nonexistent) conflict itself. No, the biggest problem is that women are speaking up. That’s just evil. Apparently. Women are supposed to know their place well enough to not be so rude as to bring this (or anything, really) up. At all. Ever.
DJ Lippy (terfasaurus) was assaulted at the event and had her phone smashed. I understand that she’s OK but shaken. Lippy is the woman who organised the Down With Stonewall dinosaur event in London a while back, which was reported here. Hers is a loud and important voice. There’s talk of a whip round to get her a new phone.
