Dead end
The ACLU continues to cheer on teenagers to get their genitalia mutilated.
It’s completely disgusting and dishonest to call it “vital health care.” It’s not. Being unhappy with your gender or sex or both is not the same as being ill or injured. It’s not “vital health care” to kill people so that they can be with god sooner, and it’s not “vital health care” to try to swap out people’s genitals.
Hey, no big deal for Tennesseans that want to mangle their kids. They can always come to Minnesota because we are now a “sanctuary state.”
I hate that construction that they are discriminating against them “for who they are”. They are not discriminating against them because of who they are, but because there are dangerous, unproven treatments being used on kids before they are old enough to give informed consent. Just like I wasn’t allowed to consent to treatment when I was 17 that was vital health care; the surgery would make a difference to whether I ever waked again or not. They called my parents to come and give permission (though they did clean the wound to prevent infection, etc).
There are conditions where cutting off breasts is in fact vital health care: when breasts are not healthy tissue, but have a cancerous tumor. I imagine there are situations where cutting off a penis is vital health care. And there are probably conditions where removing skin from one part of the body to make changes in another is vital health care; I think they do that in severe burn cases.
But banning procedures to make one look or feel at least somewhat more like the opposite sex are not vital health care; they are the opposite. Whatever happened to “first do no harm”?
‘Member when Egon said, “He performed a lot of unnecessary surgeries,” and we understood what that meant and felt creeping horror in the middle of a comedy movie?
I ‘member.
