That makes my heart swell! Thank you so very much for highlighting this – I really needed some good news after the last couple of posts! I am so relieved for her. The stress on her and her family must have been tremendous. I also hope that the litigious little troll of a Scottish actor has lost a heap of money over this, and can never, ever find another lawyer to support his schemes, and all his other vexatious cases are dropped. Shame on the police who went along with it.
(By the way, I also hope that people in news videos on YouTube will learn to pronounce her name; the C is always hard in Celtic languages; i.e. both Ceri and Celtic are pronounced Kerry and Keltic.)
The URL in the link is malformed (an extraneous double quote), but I was able to find the letter, and it is a gem. Thanks for pointing it out to us. Try this link:
BTW: As she promised, Ceri is continuing to publish her edited response to Paisley on her substack. Lots of interesting stuff about queer theory.
A few years ago, Ceri was a Tru-Believer in queer theory and her PhD is QT-related. She knows it inside and out from an acolyte’s perspective as well as a (now) fully gender critical one. As you’d expect, this is quite rare.

This is the letter Ceri Black sent to David Paisley’s solicitors and published when the two week deadline expired.
It’s a belter. No wonder he caved.

No it isn’t, I fixed it several hours ago.
Here’s the full list of what Paisley accused her of.
Strap in.
