Alone with one
This stands for so much – what they get wrong, how very wrong they get it, how obvious it is why they get it so wrong.
If you, a woman, saw a man you thought was pretending to be a woman, you’d feel powerful and superior.
That is so fucking stupid it takes my breath away. A lone woman doesn’t ever feel “powerful and superior” in the presence of a random man displaying weird behavior. She might feel morally or intellectually superior, but physically she would feel anything but. I can tell you what she would feel: she would feel afraid. Physically afraid.
Montgomerie doesn’t know that because he is a random man displaying weird behavior.
There’s no ‘thought’ about it; trans-identifying men stick out like a [must resist…must resist] sore thumb [phew, that was close].
And of course in a women’s bathroom, it’s boundary-violating behaviour, as everyone knows (or knew until five minutes ago) that toilet facilities are segregated by sex as a level of safeguard against random men displaying weird behavior. But now, thanks to the likes of Montgomery, it’s not the men being ejected but the women, because “transphobia.” All those signs and stickers telling us (but really just women) that we should “trust” that whoever is in the toilet “belongs” there, because they have chosen the space they feel aligns with their supposed “gender identity” are an attack on women’s safety. These signs proudly advertise the stripping away of the level of protection that normally would allow women to identify and report men in their facilities. Because any such man, however he presents, has already shown himself to be a threat to women by entering a space where he should not be welcome and permitted. He has self-selected himself to be a threat, but women are supposed to shut up and accept this, because now he “belongs” there and they should “trust” him. Fuck that shit.
Look at that arrogance. A person tells Katy how she would feel in a certain scenario, and Katy says no. No uncertainty, no concession that he is speculating. Katy knows your own thoughts better than you.
I wonder if this comes as part of the package of narcissism required to be a vocal trans activist. I’m reminded of past messaging, when activist trans people positioned themselves as knowing all about how both men and women feel, while also having their own thoughts that no one but trans people could access. This interaction seems to be the logical end product of that idea – not only do trans people know the inner mental theatre of men and women in general, they now also know the thoughts of specific individuals.
The fact that Montgomerie doesn’t recognize the danger women face from men, doesn’t understand the feelings of fear that accompany men who violate boundaries, is proof enough that he does not feel like a woman.
It’s quite clear that he lacks any sort of empathy, and as a substitue for it he assumes hatred is the movtivation for the need to remove trans ID males from the restroom, or to not allow them in at all. That they don’t understand the need for spaces away from men is one of the many evidences that there is no “hidden female persona” inside the body of the trans ID male.
ExACTly.
