1983–>1984
Rewriting history.
Now look at how this picture has been altered on the @DublinPride website. It has been tampered with to dishonestly insert trans demands into lesbian & gay history. Nobody carried a sign saying 'Trans rights are human rights' in 1983. It is urgentto push for #LGBWithoutTheTQ pic.twitter.com/53aX1FftaE

Is there nothing they won’t steal?
Thank Dog for Fred Sargeant who keeps calling out the rewriting of gay history, especially regarding the Stonewall Riots. He was there, but still cops abuse from Jenny Come Latelys who weren’t even born at the time.
Holy shit.
TRAs are trying to control the past to mislead those who are too young to know better, which is despicable.
Isn’t that their mission statement, or maybe their motto?
Evidently the photograph was doctored to lend credence to the big lie in the text beneath:
I am a lesbian. I came out over fifty years ago. Okay, I’m English, not Irish, but no one then talked about the ‘LGBTQ+ community’; it is a very recent invention. A quick check on the web shows me what I expect: that there was no ‘National LGBT Federation’ in Ireland in the late seventies. The organisation that was established then was called the National Gay Federation (NGF). This is an insult to the people who campaigned for lesbian and gay rights, in many cases risking careers, friendships and family ties.
The T and the Q are comparatively recent additions. We are, of course, not allowed to point that out.
I had to do a smidgen of poking around, since no direct link was provided, but here is where Stalin goes, “Da. I approve.”
Holy shit, Dublin Pride has incorporated that lie into their Twitter image. It’s quite an obvious fake in this instance, but they won’t even acknowledge what they have done when people challenge them to justify themselves.
I think it’s rather amusing (and revealing) that the Oppressed Group which has managed to get law enforcement involved in displaying Pride symbols and enforcing penalties for “transphobia” has removed the sign saying “THE POLICE AREN’T ON YOUR SIDE EITHER.” Um, no — the police ARE on your side.
Dublin Pride have now added a tweet calling the Photoshop an “obvious addition.”

It’s not at all an “obvious addition”–it’s a photoshop of a sign in the photograph, and it was made to blend in. And of course, the fakery isn’t obvious to young people for whom 1983 is ancient history. Young people who are being fed lies about how “trans women” were there all along, leading the movement for gay rights and starting the Stonewall riots.
Let the record show that this half-assed disclaimer was posted only after many people pointed out Dublin Pride’s duplicity.
We’re told that the upcoming generation of digital natives are instinctively wise to this sort of manipulation and that, for them, it is an “obvious addition”. It’s only dinosaurs like us who get suckered by Trump and Brexit.
