I’m a bit amazed that Lavery would be surprised, or pretend to be surprised, at a suspension from Twitter after publicly wishing someone to die. What a total cockhead.
How convenient that GL has been booted off Twitter and people can’t give him a hard time for backing out of the debate, and also only has a single friend in the world of Twitter who can inform us of this, but who is just too fragile to be able to just ignore the hell out any responses that might be forthcoming.
Also, I suppose it’s nice to see that Twitter deems at least one woman in the world to be off limits when it comes to wishing death upon her. Baby steps.
Ooh! If the Venerable Monarch uses “we” as first person pronoun, we have to use “they” to refer to her. Them, I mean. So there we are, the Queen is an enby. And therefore, doubly protected on Twitter on the basis of gender and monarchitude.
I’m sure all those bets will be paid off, right? (On the off chance that anyone was foolish enough to front $20, that is…)

“I hope this person dies” — what’s the big deal?
“I respectfully disagree that someone can change their sex.” — YOU ARE COMMITTING GENOCIDE!
He’s claiming the bets will be paid off, but punters are saying the payment link doesn’t work “in your area.” I await developments.
If Shine is having such problems, why the fuck did Lavery ask her to post this message?
The usual reason – to annoy.
To shut down dissension. Or at least to make GC feminists look bad if they disagree or say anything. Simple PR.
Why is it that Jacqui’s little disclaimer sounds exactly like that ‘gentle rattling sound of unknown provenance’ she describes her car as producing?

Twitter wasn’t thinking of Brenda as a woman when it did that, but as a Venerable Monarch.
